Description

Nicola Knott is a fully qualified, RAMP registered and insured veterinary physiotherapist, covering South Yorkshire and surrounding areas (UK).

Nicola has extensive experience as a veterinary physiotherapist and canine hydrotherapist, she graduated from Harper Adams University with a master’s degree in veterinary Physiotherapy. It became very clear to Nicola that dogs were her passion, and she decided to specialise. She completed the world-renowned Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner course (CCRP) through the University of Tennessee. In addition, she qualified as a canine hydrotherapist.


Nicola has had many years’ experience working as a veterinary physiotherapist in a busy veterinary hospital. She loves treating all breeds and conditions but has a particular interest in neurological patients, she completed her master’s dissertation on the conservative and post-operative rehabilitation of IVDD in Dachshunds. She also has a keen interest in helping dogs with arthritis and completed the level 1 CAM Advocate course with canine arthritis management.


Nicola works at The Elms K9 Rehabilitation Centre, part of Dachshund Rescue UK.
